I'm A Slacker! With Good Reason, Read On!

Yes, I'm terrible, I haven't been keeping up with this blog and I have to apologize to all my faithful readers for that (hi Mom!). Anyway, it's not because I'm lazy (even though I kind of am), it's because we've had a lot of stuff going on with all the wedding planning, and to add to the confusion, Bill and I are moving! I can't remember why we thought it was a good idea to move mere weeks before our wedding, but I think it had something to do with wanting a fresh start in a new living space as a married couple...

So that's my excuse, coupled with my apologies.

Moving on! Things are coming together for our big day, we've got a lot of plans in our heads that are slowly coming to fruition, but we really won't know until about 11pm on April 9th how well they all worked out!

That being said, please look out for invitations to be arriving in the mail soon, we need to get them back by February 9th, so you're officially on a deadline. In my experience this isn't really a big deal: you get the invite, check your calendar, mark it off, mail it back in the pre-addressed-and-stamped envelope. Bing bong boom, done in 30 seconds flat. However, I'm learning that this is not the process for the average male. Bill has informed me that apparently, for some reason I can't understand, the men like to receive the invitation, look at it, put it somewhere obscure, forget about it for a while, then get the nagging phone call from the bride-to-be who is desperate for a reply, and then it finally occurs to them to check the calendar, mark it off, mail it back in the pre-addressed-and-stamped envelope. I don't understand it, but I will go ahead issue a preemptive threat that if you don't get it back to me in time I will hunt you down. Just kidding...mostly...

Finally, I want to let all of you know that Bill and I are registered at Crate and Barrel and Bed Bath & Beyond. I type this knowing that a) it's tacky, and b) it's made my life easier when I get a heads up about where people are registered. So there you go.

We've got less than 3 months to go! Hope you're all getting excited, I know Bill and I are!!!
